Detroit Public Safety Foundation’s Above & Beyond Awards Ceremony
The Detroit Public Safety Foundation’s 11th annual Above & Beyond Awards Ceremony, ”A Blue Tie Affair,” on Nov. 1, 2023, honored 28 of Detroit’s police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel, along with two community partners, for their exemplary work in the city. Among the awards given during the event at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center was the Medal of Valor, Purple Heart Award, and the Emergency Medical Merit Award.
